About Me
"A carpenter is known by his chips" is one of my favourite proverbs.
In most cases I would prefer keeping silent to let my work and behavior communicate about my
skills and personality. However, in today's
fast paced world a
similar self presentation
would seem like a slow
motion picture. In other words, a few paragraph introduction would be good to
fill the gap.
My name is Vardan, I'm originally from Armenia. I have Master's degrees in both
quntum physics and computer science and I consider myself as an IT professional,
who migrated into web / database engineering area from a field of fundamental
science . I have been in computers for over 10 years, mainly, but not only, in
web, Flash, and database programming.
As for my personality,
I like nature, mountains, forests, and rivers, especially
small ones like streams.
I often relax from work by playing chess, gardening, and writing short stories.
I
used to travel a lot, move from one place to another almost every two-three
years, but now I guess I am fond of a more stable and predictable life. I have
been married to my wife for 5 years; we have a two-year-old son and I spend almost
all my spare time playing with him ...
